Celebrities Praise Dhurandhar 2 for Acting, Direction, Music, and Technical Excellence

SS Rajamouli, Preity Zinta & other stars hail Dhurandhar 2; Ranveer Singh’s performance earns widespread acclaim.

Preity Zinta praised Dhurandhar: The Revenge, shared her admiration for the ensemble, stating that every aspect—from direction and acting to music and editing—was “mindblowing.” Ram Charan described it as “raw, gripping and impactful,” noting the seamless blend of scale and emotion, while Mahesh Babu called it an “explosion executed with perfect precision,” highlighting Ranveer Singh and Shashwat Sachdev’s contributions. Vijay Deverakonda also attended a special screening at Allu Cinemas, describing the film as a landmark moment for Indian cinema.

Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli hails Ranveer Singh’s performance as a “masterclass in acting” and commending director Aditya Dhar for delivering a high-stakes, four-hour cinematic spectacle. Taking to X, Rajamouli wrote that the sequel surpassed the original in scale, soul, and technical execution, particularly highlighting its emotional depth.

Rajamouli lauded the film’s writing for weaving plot twists with genuine tension and emotion, noting that audiences remain captivated throughout its runtime. He specifically praised Ranveer Singh for his portrayal of Hamza and Jaskirat, citing a key sequence with the sister in the shed as a standout moment. Actor R. Madhavan also received accolades for convincingly embodying the helplessness and frustration of a nation, according to Rajamouli.

The film has drawn widespread acclaim from other Bollywood and South Indian stars. Sidharth Malhotra described the sequel as a gripping blend of patriotism, geopolitical undertones, and stylized action, singling out performances by Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Kartik Aaryan called it “top notch,” while Allu Arjun praised its patriotic tone and technical brilliance, adding that it would make any patriot proud.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues the story of Hamza Ali Mazari, tracing his transformation from Jaskirat Singh Rangi into a spy infiltrating Pakistan to avenge terrorist attacks. The sequel retains its strong ensemble, including Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun, and has already generated significant buzz for its narrative, performances, and production scale.

With its release in India’s largest Dolby cinema at Allu Cinemas-Hyderabad, the film is positioned as a major cinematic event, receiving early endorsements from industry heavyweights for its technical finesse and storytelling ambition.
