Allu Arjun Touches Down in Tokyo – Pushpa 2 Japan Premiere Date Revealed

Pushpa 2: The Rule set to release in Japan on January 16, 2026, as Allu Arjun arrives in Tokyo to warm fan welcome.

Allu Arjun’s blockbuster sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is all set to hit Japanese screens on January 16, 2026, under the localized title Pushpa Kunrin. The actor, who has achieved massive success with the franchise, arrived in Tokyo on Monday to promote the film, accompanied by his wife, Sneha Reddy, and daughter, Arha.

Fans at Tokyo airport greeted Allu Arjun with enthusiasm, holding posters and offering bouquets as the star made his way through the arrivals area. Sharing a glimpse of his arrival on Instagram, Allu Arjun posted a striking image of Tokyo’s skyline simply captioned, “Tokyo,” generating excitement among fans ahead of the film’s release.

Geek Pictures India, the official distributors of Pushpa 2 in Japan, confirmed the release and title on social media, announcing that the “Indian cinema hit blazes into Japan in full force” and urging fans to get ready for the “wildfire across borders and seas.” The Japanese trailer was also shared by Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Srivalli, hyping the film’s global launch.

Director Sukumar, who recently celebrated his 56th birthday, was lauded by Allu Arjun for his role in shaping the actor’s career. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the Pushpa sets, Allu Arjun expressed heartfelt gratitude toward Sukumar, calling him instrumental in the actor’s journey and success.

Pushpa 2 continues the saga of Pushpa Raj as he consolidates his control over the red sandalwood smuggling empire while navigating new adversaries and intensified law enforcement scrutiny. The sequel, which ended on a suspenseful cliffhanger, has already paved the way for Pushpa 3: The Rampage, keeping fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter.
