The celebration coincides with the promotion of their upcoming film Ranabaali, which features Vijay as Ranabaali and Rashmika as his wife Jayamma. The film, which also stars Arnold Vosloo as villain Sir Theodore Hector, draws inspiration from real events in the 1850s that are often overlooked in history books. Ranabaali marks the couple’s first joint release post-marriage, following their successful collaborations in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
