Tejasswi Prakash Opens Up: Karan Kundrra Wanted to Marry Me Right After Bigg Boss 15

Tejasswi Prakash has opened up about her relationship with actor Karan Kundrra, revealing that he wanted to marry her just after their stint on Bigg Boss 15 in 2022. The actress shared that while her mother had complete faith in Karan, she advised the couple to take time before making such a big commitment. The pair, whose romance blossomed on national television, remains one of the most admired celebrity couples in the Indian entertainment industry.
Speaking on Bharti TV’s YouTube channel, Tejasswi recalled how her mother reacted when Karan proposed marriage soon after the show ended. “You guys just got out of Bigg Boss. Maybe you should spend one year with each other in the real world because it’s not like I doubt you (Karan), but I don’t even know my daughter,” her mother had told them. Tejasswi added that her mother believed both needed time to understand one another outside the controlled environment of the reality show.
Describing herself as “chanchal,” Tejasswi admitted that she tends to fall deeply in love quickly. “If I fall in love, then I am like, ‘This is the one.’ So my mother said, ‘Take your time,’” the Naagin 6 actress said. During the interview, she also recalled how Karan made his feelings clear during Bigg Boss 15. “He would tell a lot of people that he likes me. I thought it was just a crush. But when he said it during Weekend Ka Vaar in front of everyone, that’s when I realized he was serious,” she recounted.
Tejasswi and Karan’s relationship began inside the Bigg Boss house and quickly turned into a fan-favorite love story that survived beyond the show. The couple has been together for nearly four years and is now reportedly planning to marry in 2026. Fans often praise the duo for maintaining transparency and warmth in their relationship, both on and off social media.
Before his relationship with Tejasswi, Karan Kundrra dated VJ and model Anusha Dandekar for over three years before their breakup in 2020. The two co-hosted MTV’s Love School from 2016 to 2019. After the split, Anusha hinted on social media that the relationship ended due to dishonesty, though Karan chose not to comment “out of respect.” Despite occasional online chatter involving their past, Karan and Tejasswi appear to have moved on positively, continuing to charm fans with their enduring chemistry.
