Splitsvilla X6 Star Kaira Clarifies Relationship Status With Kushal Tanwar (Gullu)

Kaira has clarified her relationship with Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, after their close bond on Splitsvilla X6 led to speculation that the two were romantically involved. The Rise And Fall Season 2 contestant said Gullu remains an important person in her life but stressed that they never dated. She described their connection as one that was deeply emotional and difficult to define through conventional relationship labels.

The clarification came during a discussion about friendships and alliances on Rise And Fall Season 2. Manish Kasyap brought up Kaira and Gullu’s equation, referring to Instagram stories in which the two were frequently seen together. Responding to the discussion, Kaira maintained that Gullu continues to be a close friend and said their bond remains strong despite the circumstances surrounding their relationship.

Kaira explained that she viewed Gullu as someone who occupied a space beyond an ordinary friendship. She described him as being “boyfriend jaisa” while making it clear that the two were never actually in a romantic relationship. Her unusual description prompted Manish to react with amusement, as he pointed out the difference between describing someone as a boyfriend and describing them as a friend.

The reality show contestant further explained that she does not form relationships quickly and does not believe in assigning labels after knowing someone for only a short period. Kaira said her relationships are guided more by emotions than definitions, explaining that she builds bonds “dil se” rather than approaching them purely from a practical perspective.

Her comments come days after she discussed feeling betrayed by Gullu during the premiere episode of Rise And Fall Season 2. Kaira had spoken about developing a strong emotional connection with him but said certain events left her hurt and contributed to issues of trust. Her latest remarks suggest that, despite those difficulties, she continues to consider him an important person in her life.

Kaira is currently participating in Rise And Fall Season 2, while Gullu is competing on Bigg Boss 20, hosted by Salman Khan. Their appearances on separate reality shows have kept attention on their past association, with Kaira’s latest clarification providing a clearer account of how she views the bond they shared during and after Splitsvilla X6.
