Rivva Kishan On Ravi Kishan’s Meme Popularity: ‘We Keep Sharing Those Reels’

Ravi Kishan has recently become a popular subject of social media memes, with clips and moments from his public appearances circulating widely online. His daughter Rivva Kishan has now opened up about how she and her family react to the actor-politician’s growing presence in the meme space. Rivva, who has also worked with her father on the reality show Alliance, revealed that the family enjoys the memes and often shares them among themselves.

During a recent podcast interaction with Filmygyan, Rivva spoke about watching the memes featuring her father. She explained that she follows the trend closely and enjoys seeing the creativity behind the posts. According to Rivva, the family does not take the memes negatively and instead celebrates the attention with humour. She added that she and Ravi Kishan regularly share meme reels with each other and often end up discussing them during their conversations.

Rivva also reflected on her own career and addressed the nepotism debate surrounding her entry into the entertainment industry as Ravi Kishan’s daughter. She acknowledged that being part of a film family can provide opportunities and visibility, but stressed that an actor still has to establish their own abilities. Rivva pointed to her 2020 debut film Sab Kushal Mangal, which also featured Akshaye Khanna, admitting that the film did not perform as expected and that she believed she had more to learn as a performer at the time.

The actor also expressed pride in her debut despite its outcome, describing the experience as an important part of her journey. Rivva noted that acting skills develop through learning, exploration and experience rather than being something a person is automatically born with. She indicated that she feels more prepared and confident in her career now and believes she is moving in the right direction.

Rivva further discussed the advice she has received from her father amid criticism and comparisons. She indicated that Ravi Kishan has encouraged her to remain authentic while building her own identity through hard work, skills and experience. She also pointed to the pressure associated with being a star kid, particularly when a parent has an established career and a strong connection with audiences.

Ravi Kishan and Rivva Kishan had also appeared together on the reality show Alliance. However, Ravi Kishan voluntarily left the Kunal Kemmu-hosted programme five days after entering it with his daughter. He returned to Gorakhpur, citing his political responsibilities and his duties as a Member of Parliament. Rivva continues to pursue her acting career while navigating the attention that comes with being the daughter of the actor-politician.
