Lust Stories 3 to Release On Netflix September 18, Here's The Star Cast

Lust Stories 3, the third instalment of the Emmy-nominated anthology series, is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18. The upcoming anthology brings together filmmakers Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj, with each director presenting a separate story exploring intimacy, emotional vulnerability and the complexities of contemporary relationships.

The series explores themes of love, desire, human connection and the difficult choices that can shape modern relationships. Netflix announced the release date through social media, confirming that Lust Stories 3 will be available exclusively on the streaming platform. The anthology format allows each filmmaker to approach the central themes from a distinct creative and emotional perspective.

The film features a large ensemble cast, including Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal and Gurfateh Pirzada. The recently released poster brings several members of the cast together, offering audiences an early glimpse of the actors who will feature across the different stories.

The four segments have been written by a group of writers, with credits including Kiran Rao, Tanaji Dasgupta, Avinash Sampath, Sumukhi Suresh, Shakun Batra, Sameeha Sabnis, Ashwathi Namboodiri, Nitesh Bhatia, Utkarshini Vashishtha and Vishal Bhardwaj. The anthology is produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment, with Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua among the producers.

According to Netflix, the four stories examine different aspects of relationships and intimacy, including power, vulnerability, agency and compromise. The filmmakers are expected to offer contrasting perspectives while leaving room for viewers to interpret the characters and their choices through their own experiences. The project continues the anthology's established focus on presenting varied stories around love and relationships.

The Lust Stories franchise began in 2018 with stories directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar. The second instalment arrived in 2023 with segments directed by R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh. With a new group of directors and a prominent ensemble cast, Lust Stories 3 is now set to continue the anthology series when it premieres on Netflix on September 18.
