Kunikaa Sadanand Warns Tanya Mittal "Control Your Fans" After AI Photo Targets Her Son
Kunikaa Sadanand condemns a Tanya Mittal fan for an AI image linking her son to Kumar Sanu and urges control over fandom.
Television actor and Bigg Boss 19 contestant Kunikaa Sadanand has strongly objected to an AI-generated image circulating on social media that links her son, Ayaan Lall, to singer Kumar Sanu, calling the post intrusive and unacceptable. The image, shared by a social media user claiming to be a fan of fellow contestant Tanya Mittal, compared the physical features of Ayaan and Kumar Sanu, triggering a sharp response from the actor.
The controversy erupted after the user posted a message on X referencing Kunikaa’s past admissions about her relationship with Kumar Sanu and implied a personal connection between the singer and her son. The post quickly gained attention online, drawing criticism for dragging a private individual into a public narrative without consent.
Reacting to the post, Kunikaa said the matter had crossed a line by involving her family and misusing artificial intelligence to fuel speculation. In a strongly worded reply, she warned of legal action, stating that the post violated “personality rights” and amounted to harassment. She also tagged Tanya Mittal, urging her to rein in fan accounts that, according to Kunikaa, were indulging in personal attacks under the guise of fandom.

Kunikaa, who has previously spoken openly about her past affair with Kumar Sanu, emphasised that acknowledging a relationship did not give anyone the right to target her child. She said involving minors and private individuals in online trolling reflected a dangerous trend enabled by unchecked AI tools and social media amplification.
The actor further alleged that this was not an isolated incident and accused Tanya Mittal of benefiting from what she described as a coordinated “troll army”. In earlier posts, Kunikaa claimed that Mittal had repeatedly spoken against her in interviews after the show, while she herself had refrained from responding publicly despite receiving footage and messages from viewers.
Tanya Mittal has not issued any response to Kunikaa Sadanand’s allegations so far. The incident has once again sparked debate around online harassment, misuse of AI-generated content, and the responsibility of public figures and fan communities in preventing personal attacks beyond the realm of reality television.
