Gaurav Gera Shares 1998 Letter Written Shortly After Moving From Delhi to Mumbai

Actor Gaurav Gera is receiving widespread attention after sharing a heartfelt 28-year-old letter he wrote to his parents, following the strong opening of his latest film Dhurandhar 2.

Known for his comic persona ‘Chutki’ from Comedy Nights with Kapil, Gaurav posted images of handwritten letters on Instagram, offering a glimpse into his early struggles after moving from Delhi to Mumbai in 1998. The post quickly went viral, resonating with fans who connected with the simplicity and honesty of his journey.

In the letter addressed to his “Mumma and Papa,” a young Gaurav wrote about financial uncertainty and the challenges of starting out in a new city. “Nothing has materialised on the money front for me, but I hope to do well soon,” he wrote, while also expressing optimism about the opportunities Mumbai offered compared to Delhi.
