Dilip Joshi dismisses rumours about leaving popular TV show.
Actor Dilip Joshi has dismissed recent rumours suggesting that he is leaving the popular television sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, assuring fans that he will continue to be part of the long-running show. The actor, who plays the much-loved character Jethalal Gada, also urged media organisations to verify information before publishing reports, saying fabricated stories often spread quickly online.
Speaking during a press interaction on the sets of the show on Friday, Dilip expressed concern over reports claiming his exit from the sitcom. He said that some stories are published without proper verification only to attract views and attention. The actor requested news outlets to confirm details with the production house or the concerned person before reporting such developments.
Dilip said he feels grateful to remain associated with a comedy show that has completed nearly 18 years on Indian television. He highlighted that the series has crossed more than 4,750 episodes and continues to be made with the same enthusiasm and commitment.
