Celina Jaitly Files Rs 50 Crore Domestic Violence Case Against Husband Peter Haag
Bollywood actor Celina Jaitly accuses husband Peter Haag of abuse, seeks damages and custody rights in Mumbai court.
Bollywood actor and former Miss India Celina Jaitly has filed a detailed domestic violence case against her husband, Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag, in a Mumbai court, alleging repeated physical, sexual, emotional, verbal, and financial abuse during their 15-year marriage. The petition, which runs over 200 pages, seeks Rs 50 crore in damages for loss of earnings, along with further compensation for property and financial losses.
According to court documents, Jaitly accused Haag of narcissistic, short-tempered, and alcoholic behavior, which caused her severe mental and physical distress, forcing her to flee their home in Austria and return to India. The gifted actor alleged that Haag prohibited her from working and manipulated her financial and property assets, including pressuring her to transfer ownership of her Mumbai residence while she was grieving personal losses.
Jaitly has also sought Rs 10 lakh monthly maintenance and unrestricted virtual and telephonic access to their three children—Winston, Viraaj, and Arthur—who currently reside with Haag in Austria. She has requested the court to restrain Haag from entering or alienating their shared residence in Andheri and to return her personal belongings, including jewelry and documents.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Jaitly expressed her determination to fight for her dignity and reclaim everything lost amid her personal turmoil, while refraining from commenting further on the ongoing legal battle since the matter is sub judice. The next court hearing is scheduled for December 12, 2025.
This case follows recent legal actions by Jaitly concerning her brother’s alleged illegal detention in the UAE, reflecting ongoing challenges within her family. Celina Jaitly’s domestic violence complaint has sparked extensive media attention and highlighted issues of abuse and empowerment within high-profile relationships.
