Archana Puran Singh's Son Recovers Rs 87,000 From Online Scam; Celebrates with Humor
Archana Puran Singh's son recovers Rs 87,000 lost in online scam.
Ayushmaan Sethi, the younger son of actor and television personality Archana Puran Singh, has reportedly recovered ₹87,000 that he had lost in an online scam. The update was shared through a family vlog, where Ayushmaan spoke humorously about the incident after the money was returned, turning an otherwise stressful experience into a light-hearted family moment.
The matter came to public attention through a vlog uploaded on April 29 by his elder brother Aaryamann Sethi on his YouTube channel, Aary Vlogs. In the video, the family confirmed that the amount lost in the fraud had been successfully recovered. Ayushmaan had earlier claimed that the scam occurred after he signed up for what was promoted as a seven-day free trial, which allegedly led to unauthorised charges.
During the vlog, Ayushmaan was seen walking around the house wearing an old T-shirt, prompting playful remarks from his brother. Referring to the recovered amount, Aaryamann joked that he should finally buy himself some new clothes now that his ₹87,000 had been returned. The exchange added a humorous tone to the video and quickly drew attention online.

Responding to the joke, Ayushmaan pretended to cry and said, “Ab main T-shirt khareed sakta hoon,” which amused viewers and became one of the highlights of the vlog. The candid family interaction resonated with audiences, many of whom praised the brothers for handling the situation with humour despite the seriousness of online fraud.
The episode also serves as another reminder of the growing risks associated with digital payment scams and misleading subscription offers. Experts often advise users to carefully review free trial terms, monitor card statements, and enable transaction alerts to prevent unauthorised charges. Ayushmaan’s recovery of the funds has been seen as a positive outcome in a case that could have ended differently.
