Archana Puran Singh Hits Back After Samay Raina's Dig at Her Vlogs
Archana Puran Singh's sassy comeback to Samay Raina wins praise.
Actor Archana Puran Singh delivered a sharp response to comedian Samay Raina after he took a playful dig at her family vlogs during an episode of India’s Got Latent 2. Archana appeared on the show’s panel alongside Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry. The exchange began when a contestant mentioned that he was involved in several activities, including vlogging, prompting Samay to joke that vlogging does not require talent. His remark appeared to be aimed at Archana, who regularly creates family-focused videos.
During the episode, contestant AR Tiwari performed Bhojpuri shayari and later listed dancing, vlogging and rapping among his other interests. Samay responded by saying, “Did you say vlog? Vlogging doesn't need talent,” drawing attention to Archana’s own presence on YouTube. Rather than letting the comment pass, Archana immediately responded with a sarcastic question: “Gaaliyan dena talent hai?” Her comeback was met with loud cheers and laughter from the audience, while Samay did not have an immediate response.
The comedian later continued the playful roasting by bringing Archana’s family into the conversation. While introducing her, Samay recalled watching her as Miss Braganza in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and said he had been a fan of her work. He then joked about her family vlogs, claiming that neither her husband nor her sons were working and describing the household as an example of “reverse patriarchy”. Archana’s sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi, were seated in the front row and appeared to take the jokes in good humour.

Archana also turned the situation into another joke when she addressed her sons directly. After Samay continued teasing them, she told them that she had warned them against sitting in the front row, joking that it was not the way to gain fame because they would instead become the target of jokes. Samay subsequently shifted his attention to Archana’s distinctive laugh and continued the light-hearted exchange. The interaction remained centred on comedy and playful banter between the panel members.
Archana has developed a significant online presence through her family vlogging content. She launched her YouTube channel, AAAP Ka Parivaar, with her husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons in December 2024. The family’s videos focus on their everyday interactions, personal moments and behind-the-scenes glimpses of their lives. The idea reportedly grew from casual videos Archana began making with her household help, Bhagyashree, during the COVID-19 lockdown, which later attracted attention on social media.
The actor’s appearance on the comedy show has consequently drawn attention not only to her exchange with Samay but also to her transition into digital content creation. While Samay’s remarks about vlogging were delivered as part of the programme’s roasting format, Archana’s quick response became one of the episode’s standout moments. Her ability to turn the criticism into another joke kept the exchange entertaining, with the studio audience responding enthusiastically to her comeback.
