Trisha Krishnan Shares Post After Voting, Fans Link It To Vijay And TVK Party

Trisha Krishnan’s post after voting in Tamil Nadu sparks Vijay link speculation amid ongoing social media buzz.

Actor Trisha Krishnan has sparked widespread online discussion following the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026 held on April 23, after she shared a social media post that fans interpreted as a subtle reference to actor-turned-politician Vijay and his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).

In an Instagram post shared shortly after casting her vote, Trisha Krishnan appeared smiling with ink marked on her finger, a common symbol of voting in India. While the caption included simple emojis, the post gained attention due to the background music she selected. She used the song “Arjunar Villu” from the 2013 Tamil film Ghilli, a popular film in which she starred alongside Vijay. Observers also noted that she appeared to edit out a section of the track featuring whistle sounds, which some fans linked to TVK’s party symbol, further fueling speculation.

Trisha was seen at the polling booth dressed in a simple traditional outfit and accompanied by her mother, Uma. After voting, she spoke briefly to the media, urging citizens to participate in the electoral process. “Please vote, just go vote. That’s your right, it’s your duty. Please go vote,” she said, emphasizing civic responsibility without commenting on any political preference.

The post quickly went viral, with social media users attempting to decode its meaning. Many fans suggested the song choice was a deliberate hint. Comments ranged from playful interpretations such as “Ghilli song: Code Word Accepted” and “If you know, you know,” to more enthusiastic reactions calling her “Anni” and celebrating her online presence with Vijay-themed references. Several posts also included GIFs and celebratory messages linking her to the actor-politician.

Trisha Krishnan and Vijay are among the most recognized on-screen pairs in Tamil cinema, having collaborated in films including Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, Kuruvi, and more recently Leo. Their long-standing professional association has often kept them in the public eye, with fans frequently celebrating their on-screen chemistry.

In recent years, both actors have also been subject to recurring social media speculation regarding their personal lives, though neither has confirmed such claims. Against the backdrop of Vijay’s political entry through TVK and ongoing electoral developments, public attention around his personal and professional associations has intensified, making Trisha’s latest post a focal point of online discussion once again.
