Thalapathy Vijay Arrives in Malaysia for Massive Jana Nayagan Audio Launch Event

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay left for Malaysia on Friday to attend the audio launch of his upcoming film Jana Nayagan, coupled with a special tribute concert titled Thalapathy Thiruvizha. The event is set to take place at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on December 27, ahead of the film’s Pongal release on January 9, 2026.
Vijay was spotted at Chennai International Airport, where fans gathered to bid him farewell. Wearing a simple black shirt and blue jeans, he waved to supporters while being escorted by CRPF personnel for security. His mother, Shoba Chandrasekhar, and other family members were present, capturing pictures and joining him before departure.
Ahead of Vijay’s arrival, actor-dancer Prabhudheva and director Nelson Dilipkumar reached Malaysia to participate in the event. Singer Anuradha Sriram, among other performers, shared glimpses from rehearsals, hinting at a star-studded tribute concert featuring nearly 30 singers celebrating Vijay’s cinematic journey.

The event will be held in two parts: the Thalapathy Thiruvizha concert, starting around 3 pm Malaysian time, followed by the audio launch of Jana Nayagan, where the cast and crew, including Vijay and director H Vinoth, will share insights about the film. The stadium, with a capacity of 85,000–90,000, is almost sold out, reflecting massive fan anticipation.
Strict guidelines have been set for attendees. Children under five are not permitted, and each child above five requires a separate ticket. Re-entry is not allowed once attendees exit the stadium. Political speeches, banners, or symbols are strictly prohibited due to Vijay’s political profile, with authorities permitting only an entertainment program.
Jana Nayagan, produced by KVN Productions, stars Vijay alongside Pooja Hegde and features Bobby Deol in a key role. With the audio launch and tribute concert creating immense buzz, fans eagerly await the film’s release and a spectacular start to Pongal 2026.
