Shalini Passi On The Traitors 2: Obsessed With Shweta, Mallika Pulls Me Away
Shalini Passi shares her views on Traitors 2 co-contestants ahead of premiere.
Shalini Passi has opened up about her experience with fellow contestants Shweta Tiwari and Mallika Sherawat ahead of the premiere of Amazon Prime Video’s The Traitors 2. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Passi praised Tiwari extensively, describing herself as “obsessed” with the television actor and admiring her appearance, expressions and overall presence. She also spoke about her contrasting dynamic with Sherawat, saying the latter’s energy had a different effect on her.
Passi was particularly complimentary of Tiwari, popularly known for her television roles and her image as the quintessential on-screen bahu. Calling her “perfect” and “unreal”, Passi said she admired the actor’s beauty and expressive eyes. She also praised Tiwari’s body language and screen presence, saying that her face and eyes conveyed an intensity that immediately caught her attention. Passi’s comments came as the contestants prepare to be seen together in the reality show, where personal relationships and strategic gameplay are central to the format.
Asked whether Tiwari had moved away from her image of the perfect bahu while playing the game, Passi said the actor was intelligent and understood how to manage her public persona. She also acknowledged Tiwari’s experience as an actress, suggesting that she was capable of “masking and unmasking” herself effectively during the competition. Passi said she enjoyed watching Tiwari play the game and indicated that her ability to adapt made her an interesting contestant to observe.

Passi also discussed her equation with Mallika Sherawat, offering a more playful description of their contrasting personalities. She said Tiwari’s energy “pulls” her in, while Sherawat’s energy pushes her away. Despite the difference, Passi said she had a good time with both women. She also revealed that the trio of Passi, Tiwari and Sherawat were referred to as the “Teen Deviyan”, or three goddesses, during their time on the show, highlighting the attention their presence generated among the contestants.
The Traitors 2 reportedly went on floors earlier this year at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. The season features a prominent lineup that includes Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Shweta Tiwari, Rhea Chakraborty, Abhishek Malhan, Shalini Passi, Krystle D'Souza, Ranveer Brar, Dalip Tahil, Parul Gulati and Aaditya Kulshreshth, also known as Kullu. The series is based on the Dutch reality format De Verraders, which has been adapted in more than 30 countries.
The show brings contestants together to complete missions and build a shared prize pot while secretly attempting to identify the “Traitors” among them. Eliminations are conducted through group votes at round-table discussions, while the hidden Traitors can make covert decisions during the night. For Passi, who became widely known to audiences through Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, her participation marks another reality television appearance. Her comments about Tiwari and Sherawat have added another layer of intrigue ahead of the new season’s premiere.
