Rise & Fall 2: Swara Bhasker Breaks Down Missing Daughter

Actor Swara Bhasker became emotional on reality show Rise & Fall Season 2 as she struggled with missing her daughter, Raabiyaa, while staying away from home for the programme. In a video from the show, Swara was seen breaking down and asking to see a photograph or even a glimpse of her daughter's face after something said by a fellow contestant reminded her of the child. The emotional moment highlighted the difficulty Swara has been facing while balancing her professional commitment with being away from her young daughter. Swara is currently among the contestants participating in the second season of the reality show, where contestants compete while dealing with shifting alliances and challenges.

While speaking to co-contestant Gautam Gulati, Swara explained what had triggered the sudden emotional reaction. She said someone had mentioned "Sushi", which immediately reminded her of her daughter and intensified her feelings of homesickness. As she struggled to hold back her tears, Swara repeatedly requested that she be shown a photograph of Raabiyaa. "Yaar uska face dikhado, uski photo dikhado please," she was heard saying in the video. The moment showed how a seemingly small reminder of her daughter had brought her emotions to the surface while she was already dealing with the separation caused by her participation in the reality show.

Tej Pratap Yadav was seen trying to comfort Swara as she became increasingly emotional, repeatedly attempting to console her during the moment. Shehzad Poonawalla also joined in and tried to support the actor as she struggled to regain her composure. The interaction comes amid a growing friendship between Swara and Shehzad on the show, where contestants have been navigating different relationships and alliances. The emotional exchange also reflected the personal side of the contestants' experience beyond the competitive format, as they remain away from their families while taking part in the programme.

Swara's Instagram account also shared the emotional video, describing the experience of being a working mother and the difficulty of being physically away from her child. The post said that while a working mother's mind may remain focused on her professional responsibilities, her heart continues to be at home. The message also expressed how much Swara was looking forward to reuniting with her daughter. The actor has previously spoken about the challenge of leaving Raabiyaa behind before entering Rise & Fall Season 2 and had acknowledged that spending nights away from her child would be among the hardest parts of the experience.

Swara welcomed Raabiyaa with her husband, Fahad Ahmad, in September 2023 and has previously shared moments with her daughter on social media. Ahead of joining the reality show, she had posted pictures of herself with Raabiyaa and a moment with Fahad while discussing the emotional difficulty of leaving home for the programme. Her latest breakdown on the show therefore came in the context of an experience she had already anticipated would be challenging. The video has since drawn attention as viewers saw a more vulnerable side of the actor while she dealt with missing her child.

Swara is currently competing in the second season of Rise & Fall, which is hosted by Virender Sehwag. The reality show divides its contestants into Rulers and Workers, with participants required to navigate challenges, changing alliances and power struggles as the competition progresses.
