Dhanush Mobbed By Fans After 'OM Chapter 1' Shoot In Thiruvannamalai
Dhanush receives overwhelming fan response after film shoot.
Actor Dhanush was surrounded by a large crowd of fans after completing a shooting schedule for his upcoming Tamil film OM Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood near the famous Annamalaiyar Temple. Videos from the location showing fans gathering around the actor have gone viral on social media.
The visuals showed hundreds of fans waiting near the shooting spot as Dhanush walked towards his car after the shoot. Many fans attempted to click photographs and record videos of the actor, while security personnel stepped in to help him move safely through the crowd.
Despite the overwhelming response, Dhanush remained composed and acknowledged his fans before leaving the location. The actor has often received enthusiastic reactions from audiences, with a similar incident reported during his visit to London in 2025, where fans gathered in large numbers during a public appearance.

Dhanush’s growing popularity extends beyond Tamil cinema, with his performances in regional and international projects helping him build a strong fan following. His upcoming film OM Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood has generated significant interest among moviegoers and is expected to be one of the major Tamil releases of the year.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Rajkumar Periasamy, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16. The movie features an ensemble cast including Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah and Indrans, though details about the storyline have been kept under wraps by the makers.
Apart from OM Chapter 1, Dhanush has several projects lined up, including director Tamizharasan Pachamuthu’s D56. He is also set to collaborate again with filmmaker Mari Selvaraj after Karnan for a new project featuring music by AR Rahman, while his reunion with director Vetri Maaran for Thamizh Murugan is also in development.
