Raghav Juyal Explains Aryan Khan's Reason For Not Smiling in Public

Actor Raghav Juyal has spoken about Aryan Khan's reserved public persona, saying Shah Rukh Khan's son chooses not to smile for cameras because he does not want to "fake it." His comments come after Aryan made a rare public appearance at Raghav's birthday celebration, where he drew significant attention from fans and photographers. Raghav said Aryan's serious expressions in public should be viewed as a matter of personal choice rather than interpreted negatively.

Speaking in an interview with Pinkvilla, Raghav explained that Aryan prefers to remain authentic instead of putting on an act for the cameras. According to him, Aryan is naturally creative, kind and free-spirited, and his public demeanour does not reflect how he behaves in private. Raghav added that people should respect Aryan's decision if he chooses not to smile during public appearances.

Raghav revealed that Aryan has a very different personality away from the spotlight, describing him as someone who laughs, jokes and enjoys spending time with friends and family. He suggested that the public often forms opinions based on brief interactions with celebrities, whereas those who know Aryan personally experience a much more relaxed and cheerful side of him.

Earlier, in an interview with NDTV, Raghav also praised Aryan's creative abilities, saying he has established an identity independent of his famous parents, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. He described Aryan as a talented filmmaker with a distinct vision, adding that creating a satirical series that plays with public perception required considerable courage and originality.

Aryan Khan recently made his directorial and creator debut with The Ba***ds of Bollywood, produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner for Netflix. The satirical comedy-drama explores the inner workings of the Hindi film industry through the journey of an ambitious outsider attempting to build a career in Bollywood while navigating its challenges and public image.

The seven-episode series features an ensemble cast including Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa and Manish Chaudhari. The show has attracted attention not only for marking Aryan Khan's debut as a director but also for its satirical take on the film industry, with Raghav's latest remarks offering further insight into the personality of the young filmmaker behind the project.
