L2: Empuraan Trailer Is Out! Mohanlal and Prithviraj Pack A Punch

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal recently visited the Sabarimala temple, dressed in traditional black attire, seeking blessings ahead of the film's release.

The much-anticipated trailer of L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, was released on March 20 at 1:08 AM. Despite its midnight launch, the action-packed 3-minute and 50-second trailer quickly took over the internet, fueling excitement among fans.

Mohanlal reprises his iconic role as Khureshi Ab’raam, also known as Stephen Nedumpally, bringing his signature screen presence and intensity. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who also directs the film, plays Zayed Masood, adding to the intrigue. The stellar supporting cast includes Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Indrajith Sukumaran, each delivering gripping performances.

A sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, L2: Empuraan is the second installment in the planned trilogy. With grand visuals, powerful dialogues, and high-end action sequences, the trailer promises an even more expansive cinematic experience. The film, produced by Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies, is set to release theatrically on March 27 in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. In the Telugu states, it will be distributed by Dil Raju’s SVC Cinemas.
