Jasmin Bhasin Reveals Temporary Memory Loss After Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 Stunt
Jasmin Bhasin’s concussion caused temporary memory loss after stunt.
Actor Jasmin Bhasin has opened up about experiencing temporary memory loss after performing a stunt on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. Bhasin reportedly struggled to remember what had happened immediately after the stunt and later revealed that doctors diagnosed her with a mild concussion. The incident has drawn attention to concussion symptoms and why memory problems after a head injury should not be dismissed simply because a person remains conscious or appears physically well. Reports have identified the stunt as a water-based challenge filmed during the show's current season.
A concussion is a form of traumatic brain injury that can occur after a blow or jolt causes the head and brain to move rapidly. It can temporarily affect normal brain function even when there is no obvious external injury. Memory problems, confusion, dizziness, headache, nausea, blurred vision and difficulty concentrating can occur after a concussion. The absence of loss of consciousness does not rule out a concussion, and symptoms may sometimes become clearer over time.
Memory loss following a head injury can be particularly important because it may indicate that normal information processing was disrupted around the time of the incident. A person can remain awake and still have difficulty remembering events immediately before or after an injury. Jasmin's account therefore illustrates why the severity of a possible concussion cannot be judged only by whether someone fainted or appeared physically unhurt immediately afterwards. Medical assessment is important when confusion or memory loss follows a significant impact.

Most concussions can be managed with appropriate medical supervision and a gradual return to normal activities. However, some symptoms following a head injury require urgent medical attention. These include a worsening or severe headache, repeated vomiting, increasing confusion, unusual behaviour, difficulty waking, slurred speech, weakness or numbness, problems with coordination, seizures or loss of consciousness. Such symptoms can indicate a more serious complication and should not be ignored.
Returning too quickly to strenuous physical activity after a concussion can also be risky. Feeling better does not necessarily mean that the brain has fully recovered, which is why decisions about returning to sport or other high-risk physical activity should follow medical advice. The CDC recommends medical follow-up after mild traumatic brain injury and guidance on when it is safe to resume activities.
Jasmin's reported experience has renewed attention on an important point about head injuries: a person does not have to lose consciousness for a concussion to occur. Temporary memory loss, confusion or other changes in brain function after an injury warrant appropriate medical evaluation. While many concussions improve with care and monitoring, worsening neurological symptoms require prompt medical attention.
