Mohanlal’s thriller Drishyam 3 has continued its strong box office run, registering a healthy performance over its first weekend and maintaining steady audience turnout across multiple languages. The film has benefitted from strong word-of-mouth and consistent occupancy levels, particularly in its Malayalam version, which remains the primary driver of its collections.
On Day 4, which marked the film’s first Sunday, Drishyam 3 collected an estimated ₹13.95 crore net across 5,270 shows, according to Sacnilk reports. This reflected a slight uptick of 1.8 percent compared to its Saturday earnings of ₹13.7 crore net, indicating sustained audience interest as the weekend concluded.
With the latest figures, the film’s total India net collection stands at approximately ₹54.55 crore, while the India gross is estimated at ₹63.34 crore. Overseas markets have also contributed significantly, pushing the global gross to around ₹141.34 crore within just four days of release.

The Malayalam version continues to dominate performance metrics, accounting for the bulk of earnings with strong occupancy levels nearing 70 percent on Day 4. The Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada versions have shown more moderate turnout, with occupancy rates ranging between 20 and 50 percent depending on region and show timing.
Across languages, audience engagement remained strongest during afternoon and evening shows, reflecting typical weekend viewing patterns. While Malayalam screenings consistently recorded high occupancy across all time slots, other language versions showed more fluctuation, particularly in morning shows which tended to open weaker.
The film’s overall box office trajectory suggests a solid opening weekend supported by franchise value and regional strength. With weekday performance now set to determine its longer-term run, Drishyam 3 will be closely watched for its ability to sustain momentum beyond the initial surge in weekend footfalls.
