Mohanlal’s latest crime thriller Drishyam 3 continues its strong theatrical run at the box office, maintaining momentum well into its second weekend. The film has crossed significant revenue milestones both in India and overseas, reinforcing its status as one of the biggest Malayalam successes of the year. Industry trackers report that the film has sustained steady audience interest even after ten days in cinemas.
On its second Saturday, Drishyam 3 earned approximately ₹5.05 crore nett in India, according to trade tracking platform Sacnilk. With this performance, the film’s total domestic nett collection has climbed to ₹91.30 crore. Its India gross collection currently stands at ₹105.94 crore, reflecting consistent audience turnout across multiple regions and languages. The strong weekend jump indicates sustained interest among family audiences and thriller fans.
The film’s overseas performance has also been notably strong, contributing significantly to its global total. On Saturday alone, Drishyam 3 reportedly collected around ₹6 crore from international markets, taking its overseas earnings to ₹113.75 crore. This brings the worldwide gross collection to an impressive ₹219.69 crore. The international reception has further boosted the film’s overall standing among recent Indian releases.

The Malayalam version remains the primary driver of the film’s success, accounting for the majority of domestic revenue. On day 10, the original version earned ₹4.55 crore and registered an occupancy of around 45% across 1,892 shows. The dubbed versions also continued to perform steadily, with the Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada versions contributing additional collections across multiple screens, reflecting the film’s pan-India appeal.
Audience occupancy trends throughout Saturday showed a clear upward trajectory, indicating growing interest as the day progressed. Overall occupancy stood at 38.35%, starting from 16.50% in morning shows and rising sharply through the day. Afternoon shows recorded 33.42% occupancy, while evening screenings reached 46.67%. Night shows saw the highest turnout at 56.83%, highlighting strong word-of-mouth traction.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam 3 marks the return of Mohanlal as Georgekutty, a character widely regarded as one of Malayalam cinema’s most iconic roles. The film also features performances by Meena, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. The ensemble cast and the franchise’s established popularity continue to drive its box office momentum both domestically and internationally.
