#BiharPolls: PM Modi "Remote-Controlled" by Ambani-Adani, Panics Under Trump Pressure Says Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi accuses PM Modi of serving billionaire and US interests during Bihar rallies.

In a fiery address during back-to-back rallies in Begusarai and Khagaria districts of poll-bound Bihar, Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not only "scared" of US President Donald Trump but is also "remote-controlled" by billionaires Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani. Drawing a sharp contrast with historical figures, Gandhi referenced Mahatma Gandhi's frail yet resolute stand against the British Empire and Indira Gandhi's defiance of US threats in 1971, claiming Modi lacked similar courage. He specifically accused the PM of suffering a "panic attack" and abruptly ending "Operation Sindoor"—a military conflict with Pakistan—within two days after a call from Trump.

Gandhi further charged that key Modi government policies, including GST and demonetisation, were deliberately designed to cripple small businesses while enriching large corporations. "Our approach is different. We want to promote small businesses and replace 'made in China' labels with 'made in Bihar' tags," he declared, positioning the INDIA bloc as a champion of local enterprise. He mocked Modi's public persona, stating the PM would "do yoga, dance on stage, or anything for votes" until election day, only to prioritize "favorite corporations" afterward.

The Congress leader also leveled allegations of electoral malpractice, claiming the BJP and RSS "completely stole" elections in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh. In Bihar, he accused the Election Commission of removing Mahagathbandhan supporters from voter lists, promising to submit proof. Gandhi criticized Modi's advice to youth to watch reels on cheap internet, asserting it diverts attention from unemployment while funneling profits to Ambani via platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

Accompanied by INDIA bloc ally Mukesh Sahni of the Vikassheel Insan Party—promised the deputy CM post despite no MLAs in the outgoing assembly—Gandhi emphasized inclusive governance representing all sections, particularly highlighting Sahni's Nishad caste background. He underscored his own priorities by noting attendance at poor farmers' weddings over big business invitations and alleged that Bihar's NDA government under Nitish Kumar is effectively controlled from Delhi via a handful of bureaucrats.

If the INDIA bloc comes to power, Gandhi pledged a government for every societal segment, not tied to any particular caste, while reiterating diversion tactics by the PM to avoid scrutiny on core issues like joblessness.
