Anushka Sharma And Virat Kohli Have Different Music Preferences, Photographer Reveals

Photographer Rahul Jhangiani reveals the couple’s contrasting music preferences.

Celebrity photographer Rahul Jhangiani has revealed an amusing difference between Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli while recalling his experiences working with the star couple. In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, Rahul described both as highly professional, punctual and respectful towards everyone on set, while also sharing a glimpse of their contrasting music preferences.

Rahul highlighted the discipline of both Anushka and Virat, noting that they are typically early to shoots and keen to complete their work efficiently. He also praised their respect for the artists and crew members they work with, describing them as courteous and attentive despite their stature in the entertainment and sports worlds.

The photographer revealed that the couple have different preferences when it comes to music on set. According to Rahul, Virat enjoys Punjabi music and has his own playlist, while Anushka prefers high-energy English pop. On one occasion, he played Virat’s playlist when Anushka was present, prompting her to ask him to switch to her choice of music. Rahul also described their dynamic when they appear together, noting that they tend to become absorbed in their own world.

Rahul also recalled his first major breakthrough in photography, a Lux advertising campaign with Alia Bhatt in Bangkok. He described the project as a turning point in his career, particularly because he was relatively new to the profession at the time. He credited Alia with giving him the opportunity to work on the major campaign and expressed gratitude for the role it played in establishing his career.

The photographer later worked with Alia for her clothing brand Ed-a-Mamma during her pregnancy. Recalling that experience, Rahul praised her professionalism and work ethic, describing her as committed to her work throughout the period. He also highlighted her humility and friendly nature, adding that she remained focused and professional during their shoots.

Rahul began his photography journey after studying science and later working as an assistant to veteran photographer Subi Samuel. He has since built a portfolio spanning celebrity, fashion and commercial photography, working with several leading names from the film and entertainment industries. He describes his photographic aesthetic as minimal and contemporary, with his work covering actors, musicians, athletes and red-carpet personalities.
