Yash’s “Paisa Leke Karunga” Reply To Toxic Song’s Condom Ad Comparison
Yash responds to comparisons between Toxic song and condom advertisement.
Actor Yash has responded to criticism surrounding Tabaahi, a song from his upcoming film Toxic, after the song's visuals were compared by some viewers to a condom advertisement. The track features Yash alongside Kiara Advani in intimate sequences, prompting discussion about the presentation of romance and sexuality in the film. Speaking on Aap Ki Adalat, Yash addressed the comparison with humour rather than taking the criticism seriously.
When asked about the condom advertisement comparison, Yash joked that if he ever had to appear in such an advertisement, he would do it for payment rather than for free. His response came amid online reactions to Tabaahi, with some viewers questioning the visual treatment of the song and its intimate elements.
Yash also addressed concerns over whether Toxic crosses the line into vulgarity. The actor argued that there is a distinction between presenting intimate material aesthetically and resorting to vulgarity. He maintained that the film stays within that boundary and noted that, despite the discussions around the song, he had not even kissed his co-star in the film.

The actor further explained that the visual presentation of such scenes depends on the filmmaker's creative approach. According to Yash, cinema can use imagery and aesthetics to create an impact without necessarily becoming vulgar. He indicated that understanding where to draw the line is important when depicting intimate or romantic moments on screen.
Yash also described Toxic as a film aimed at conversations among younger audiences, particularly around their questions about older generations and established social rules. He explained that the story explores why certain expectations and conventions are treated as fixed, while younger people may question whether those rules still make sense.
Toxic is scheduled to release on August 26 and is backed jointly by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, in addition to its original English and Kannada versions. The discussion around Tabaahi has added to interest in the film ahead of its theatrical release.
