Ram Kapoor opens up about past affairs before marriage.
Television actor Ram Kapoor has opened up about his past relationships, revealing that he had "countless affairs" before marrying actor Gautami Kapoor. During a recent conversation on the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, Ram described himself as a "playboy" before marriage and said that his lifestyle changed after he entered into a relationship with Gautami. In the episode, Ram was asked by host Shreya Kalra about the number of affairs he had before and after marriage.
Responding to the question, the actor clarified that he had not been involved in any affairs after marrying Gautami. When Shreya specified that she was asking about his life before marriage, Ram admitted that he had several relationships and said he could not keep count of them. Ram recalled that his reputation before marriage was known among people close to him, including television producer Ektaa Kapoor. He said that when news of his relationship with Gautami and their upcoming marriage became public, Ektaa contacted Gautami to express her concerns about his past.
According to Ram, Ektaa warned Gautami about his previous relationships because she wanted to ensure that Gautami was making the right decision. The actor said he believes Ektaa's reaction was understandable and that her concern came from a place of friendship. Ram acknowledged that he had a different lifestyle before marriage and accepted that Ektaa was right to caution Gautami. He said that his past behaviour was something he himself recognised and that the warning was made out of genuine concern for Gautami.
