#BreakingNews: Ghaziabad Dhaba Dispute Leads to Double Murder
Tragic double murder in Ghaziabad over snacks and alcohol at eatery.
A minor argument escalated into a brutal double murder in Ghaziabad on Friday when an eatery staff attacked three factory workers with sharp weapons. The victims, Satyam, Shripal, and Anurag—all around 25 years old—were consuming alcohol near a roadside dhaba while parked in their e-rickshaw. The dispute reportedly began over ordering snacks to accompany their drinks, quickly turning violent as owners and staff allegedly confronted the group.
The confrontation led to a fierce assault using knives and other sharp objects. Police arrived promptly to find Satyam and Shripal critically injured; both were declared dead at the scene or en route to medical help. Anurag suffered serious injuries but is stable and out of immediate danger, receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. The incident highlights how small disagreements can spiral into fatal violence in late-night settings.
DCP Trans Hindon Nimish Patil confirmed that the area has been secured, with an investigation underway. Several suspects from the eatery staff and owners have been detained for questioning. Authorities are examining CCTV footage, witness statements, and forensic evidence to reconstruct the sequence of events and establish motives beyond the initial dispute.

This shocking case has sparked concerns about safety at roadside eateries and the risks associated with alcohol consumption in public spaces. Factory workers often frequent such dhabas for affordable food and relaxation after long shifts, but this tragedy underscores the potential for sudden escalations. Police have appealed for calm while promising swift action against those responsible.
As the probe continues, the families of the deceased mourn their loss amid calls for justice. The incident serves as a grim reminder of how trivial conflicts can lead to irreversible consequences in moments of heated anger.
