Shilpa Shetty Plays Dhol "Like A Pro" At Ganpati Visarjan, Dances With Paparazzi
Shilpa Shetty impresses fans with dhol skills at Ganpati Visarjan.
Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty joined her family in celebrating Ganpati Visarjan on Tuesday, bidding farewell to Lord Ganesha outside their residence. Dressed in a bright yellow saree and traditional gold jewellery, Shilpa was seen taking part in the festive celebrations alongside her husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan and daughter. Videos from the occasion surfaced online and quickly drew attention for the actor’s lively participation in the procession.
Shilpa was seen dancing enthusiastically to the beats of the dhol with her children before taking up the drum herself. She played the dhol with considerable energy and appeared to thoroughly enjoy the moment. In another video, she was seen dancing with members of the paparazzi who had gathered to cover the family’s Ganpati celebrations, adding to the informal and celebratory atmosphere.
The actor’s family appeared to coordinate their festive outfits in shades of yellow. Shilpa wore a yellow saree, while Raj Kundra and Viaan were seen in yellow kurtas. Their daughter also wore a yellow saree as the family participated in the rituals and festivities associated with the immersion ceremony. The family’s coordinated appearance and Shilpa’s enthusiastic dancing became prominent moments in the videos shared online.

Shilpa’s dhol-playing skills received praise from social media users, many of whom were impressed by her confidence and stamina. The Ganpati celebrations also saw members of the Khan family participating in Visarjan festivities. Salman Khan was spotted at his brother Sohail Khan’s residence, where he took part in the rituals and performed aarti. Salman was also seen spending time with his niece Ayat, while Sohail and other family members danced to the dhol beats during the celebrations.
On the professional front, Shilpa Shetty was most recently seen hosting the reality show Maa Hai Na, a comedy-cooking programme featuring young celebrities and their mothers. The show explored family relationships through cooking challenges, games and other activities. Its finale aired on July 1, with Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, and his mother Munesh Tanwar emerging as winners after defeating Urvashi Dholakia and her son Kshitij Dholakia.
