Shakira Returns to India: Mumbai & Delhi Concert Dates Announced

Global pop icon and multiple Grammy Award winner Shakira is set to return to India to headline two major concerts in April 2026. The singer will perform in Mumbai on April 10 and in Delhi on April 15 as part of the third edition of the Feeding India Concert. The announcement has generated excitement among fans who have long awaited her return to the country.

The Mumbai concert will take place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, while the Delhi performance is scheduled at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The event is being organised by Feeding India in collaboration with District by Zomato. The initiative combines large-scale entertainment with a social cause aimed at tackling hunger and malnutrition.

In an official statement, Shakira expressed her enthusiasm about performing in India again, describing it as a special place for her. She emphasised that the Feeding India Concert represents more than just music, highlighting its mission to ensure children have access to proper nutrition and opportunities to thrive. Her participation is expected to draw significant public attention to the cause.

Known for global hits such as “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Whenever, Wherever,” and “Waka Waka,” Shakira remains one of the best-selling music artists worldwide. Through her philanthropic organisation, Barefoot Foundation, she has consistently supported education and child welfare initiatives for vulnerable communities, aligning closely with the goals of the concert.

According to organisers, the Feeding India Concert 2026 is a community-driven initiative supporting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger by 2030. The shows are presented by HSBC India and will be produced and exclusively ticketed by District by Zomato, with further event details expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
