Newlywed actress Rashmika Mandanna met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his family on Sunday to formally invite them to her wedding reception with actor Vijay Deverakonda, scheduled for March 4 in Hyderabad. The meeting included CM Reddy’s wife, Geetha Reddy, and their daughter, with Geetha seen offering her blessings to the bride during the visit.
Earlier in the day, Rashmika and Vijay visited a local temple in Hyderabad to offer prayers as part of traditional post-wedding rituals. In a gesture of community goodwill, the couple, through their team, distributed thousands of sweet boxes across 23 cities nationwide, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. Simultaneously, annadanam — the sacred offering of food — is being conducted at multiple temples across India, reflecting the couple’s emphasis on seeking blessings while giving back to society.
Rashmika and Vijay exchanged vows on February 26 in Udaipur, in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family members. The wedding attracted significant media attention, with fans and followers celebrating the union of two of South India’s most popular film stars.
