Rashmika Mandanna Makes First Public Appearance With Vijay Deverakonda After Injury

Actor Rashmika Mandanna made her first public appearance after suffering a hip injury while shooting for her upcoming film Mysaa. Rashmika, who has been recovering following surgery, attended producer Niranjan Reddy’s son Sahil Reddy’s engagement ceremony in Hyderabad with actor Vijay Deverakonda. The couple arrived together at the event and were seen holding hands as they entered the venue.

Rashmika opted for a black and gold lehenga for the engagement ceremony and kept her overall look traditional and understated. Vijay complemented her appearance in an all-black suit. The outing marked Rashmika’s return to a public event following her injury and subsequent recovery at home.

The actor had earlier spoken about the injury in an Instagram post, explaining that it occurred during a dance shoot for Mysaa. She revealed that one of the tendons around her right hip had detached and required treatment before she could resume normal movement. Rashmika described Mysaa as one of the most physically demanding films she had worked on and said the injury had forced her to take a break from her usual routine.

Rashmika also shared updates about her recovery and said she had been spending time at home while working on puzzles during her break. The injury occurred during the filming of Mysaa, one of Rashmika’s upcoming projects. The actor has been away from public appearances while recovering, making her appearance at the Hyderabad engagement ceremony a notable outing. Her return comes as fans continue to await updates on her recovery and her upcoming film commitments.

Rashmika and Vijay have frequently attracted public attention over their relationship and appearances together. They married in a private ceremony in Udaipur in February 2026. Their joint appearance at the engagement ceremony offered the first public glimpse of Rashmika since her hip injury and showed the actor stepping out as she continues her recovery.
