Rashmika and Vijay Glow at Grand Coorg Reception Following Actress's 30th Birthday

Speaking at the reception, Rashmika described herself as a “child of the soil", expressing a deep emotional connection to her roots. She highlighted the warmth and affection of the Kodava community, stating that returning to her hometown after marriage brought her immense joy. She also mentioned that Vijay has developed a fondness for the local culture and traditions.

The couple reportedly tied the knot earlier this year after being spotted together for several years, though they had kept their relationship largely private. They previously worked together in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, which contributed to their on-screen popularity and fan following.
