Priyanka Chopra Posts Goa Vacation Photos Before Attending Varanasi GlobeTrotter Event

Priyanka Chopra shares Goa vacation moments before the Varanasi event, enjoying beaches, carrom, and quiet “healing days”.

Global star Priyanka Chopra spent several “healing days” in Goa before travelling to Hyderabad for the high-profile launch of her pan-India film Varanasi. The actor, who has been largely based in the United States in recent years, shared a series of sun-drenched photographs on Instagram on Tuesday, describing Goa as “one of my favourite cities in the world.” She praised the coastal state’s hospitality, cuisine, people, and inherent kindness, adding that “she can be whatever you need her to be.”

The pictures capture Chopra unwinding at the luxurious Palacio Aguada, the palatial Goan residence of prominent Hyderabadi socialites Pinky Reddy and GV Sanjay Reddy, which features its own private beach. Additional images show her soaking up the sun, collecting seashells along the shore, and engaging in spirited games of carrom with friends—where she humorously admitted to losing multiple times and needing more practice. Chopra also stayed at Pousada By The Beach, Taj Holiday Village Resort, and The Second House during her short break, though she noted that the time “just wasn’t enough.”

The brief holiday served as a calming interlude in an otherwise packed India schedule for the actor. After Goa, Chopra travelled to Hyderabad for the grand muhurat event of SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated Telugu period-adventure Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film, scheduled for theatrical release during Sankranthi 2027, marks her first major Indian acting project since The Sky Is Pink in 2019 and signals a high-profile return to Indian cinema after nearly a decade of predominantly Hollywood commitments.

In addition to Varanasi, the actor has the Hollywood action film The Bluff and the series Judgement Day in the pipeline. Her Goa album quickly went viral, further fuelling anticipation for her long-awaited re-entry into the Indian film industry on a grand scale.
