Kriti Sanon’s Emotional Confession: “Still Hasn’t Sunk In” as Nupur Ties the Knot

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon shared an emotional tribute on social media to celebrate her sister Nupur Sanon’s recent marriage to musician Stebin Ben. Nupur and Stebin tied the knot in a lavish white wedding ceremony in Udaipur on January 10, followed by a Hindu wedding on January 11. The couple later hosted a star-studded reception in Mumbai for industry friends.

In her heartfelt post, Kriti reflected on Nupur’s journey from childhood to becoming a bride, writing, “My little one is married! From holding you in my arms for the first time when I was 5, to now holding your chaadar and seeing you all dressed up as the prettiest bride I’ve ever seen. My heart is so full seeing you so happy, in love, and beginning the next—and the most beautiful—chapter of your life with the best life partner we could ever ask for you.”

Kriti also welcomed Stebin into the family, acknowledging the bond they had formed over the past five years: “I love you, Stebu, and I know I’ve gained a brother and a friend for life who’s always gonna be there for me. Seeing you two tie the knot and say your vows has been one of the most emotionally beautiful moments of my life! What precious memories.”

Adding a personal note to Nupur, Kriti wrote: “Even though I know you’re gonna be 20 minutes away and will keep coming home, the house really feels empty without your laughter. But I’m happy you’ll be spreading joy in two houses now. Ufff… Love you both to the moon and back!”

Nupur responded with a playful message: “I love her more than I love you, Stebin. Always know that.” Industry friends including Kareena Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap, Manish Malhotra, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Aparshakti Khurana joined in congratulating the couple on social media.

In a recent interview, Nupur revealed that Kriti played a crucial role in gaining their mother’s approval for the interfaith marriage. She shared, “The first person I told about Stebin was my sister. We’re five years apart but extremely close… she immediately said he had a magical voice and immense talent. That confidence changed everything.”

According to industry reports, Nupur and Stebin’s relationship blossomed through professional collaborations in music videos, where their on-screen chemistry first drew attention, eventually laying the foundation for their personal bond.
