Justin Bieber Linked To FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show Performance

Reports suggest Justin Bieber is being considered for the World Cup final halftime show.

Justin Bieber is reportedly in discussions to perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 final halftime show, in what could mark the tournament’s first-ever Super Bowl-style entertainment segment. According to media reports, FIFA is considering the global pop star for the high-profile event scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States.

The halftime show is expected to be a historic addition to the FIFA World Cup final, featuring a curated lineup of global music icons. Reports suggest Justin is being considered alongside other major international artists, including Madonna, Shakira, and K-pop group BTS, who were previously confirmed in earlier announcements. If finalised, it would reportedly be Justin’s first performance at a FIFA World Cup event.

Speculation around Justin’s involvement grew after he was seen attending the World Cup opening ceremony in Inglewood, California, with his wife Hailey Bieber. According to reports, he also performed an informal backstage set of his song “Yukon” for select VIP guests during the event, further fuelling rumours of a deeper involvement in FIFA’s entertainment plans.

The proposed halftime show will be a first-of-its-kind segment for a FIFA World Cup final, modelled on the Super Bowl-style performance format. The 11-minute showcase is being positioned as a landmark entertainment moment during the final match, with FIFA president Gianni Infantino describing it as a “historic moment” for the tournament. The show is reportedly being curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin in partnership with Global Citizen.

Justin’s potential appearance comes at a time when the singer has not announced any major tour plans for the year. However, he has remained active with select performances, including a recent appearance at the Coachella Music Festival, where reports claimed he was among the highest-paid performers at the event. If confirmed, the FIFA halftime show would mark one of the most high-profile performances of his career.
