For Jisoo, Eyes Closed is her first musical release since her solo EP Amortage in February 2025, which featured tracks like Earthquake, Your Love, Tears, and Hugs & Kisses. For Zayn, the single builds on his successful solo career, which has seen him explore R&B and alternative pop since departing One Direction in 2015.
