Adolescence, Hamnet, and One Battle After Another win big at the Golden Globes 2026; Timothée Chalamet shines.

The 83rd Golden Globe Awards, held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, celebrated a diverse array of cinematic and television achievements, with the films Adolescence and One Battle After Another emerging as the night's biggest winners, each securing four major honors. In the film categories, Hamnet took home the coveted Best Picture – Drama award, beating strong contenders such as Frankenstein, Sinners, and Sentimental Value. Jessie Buckley won Best Actress – Drama for her powerful portrayal in Hamnet, while Wagner Moura claimed Best Actor – Drama for his role in The Secret Agent. One Battle After Another triumphed in the Best Picture – Musical or Comedy category, leading the nominations with nine nods overall and earning additional wins for Teyana Taylor as Best Supporting Actress and a nomination sweep in several acting fields. Timothée Chalamet added to the night's highlights by winning Best Actor – Musical or Comedy for his performance in Marty Supreme.

Other notable film winners included The Secret Agent, which secured Best Non-English Language Film, and K-Pop Demon Hunters, which took Best Animated Feature. In supporting roles, Stellan Skarsgård won Best Supporting Actor for Sentimental Value, while Rose Byrne claimed Best Actress – Musical or Comedy for If I Had Legs I'd Kick You.

The television categories saw The Pitt named Best Series—Drama, with Noah Wyle winning Best Actor—Drama for his lead role in the medical series. Rhea Seehorn earned Best Actress – Drama for Pluribus. The limited series Adolescence made a strong impression by winning both Best Supporting Actress (Erin Doherty) and Best Supporting Actor (Owen Cooper) in the television categories, underscoring its critical acclaim.

The evening was filled with memorable moments, including Chalamet's heartfelt speech thanking partner Kylie Jenner and viral interactions featuring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and BLACKPINK's Lisa as presenters.
