Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who welcomed her daughter Aaradhya in November 2011 with Abhishek Bachchan, recently attended the Red Sea Film Festival. During an interactive session, she reflected on her journey as a mother and how her daughter has grown up witnessing her global appearances, especially at the Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya shared that Aaradhya has been with her at Cannes from a very young age, making the prestigious festival feel like an annual family ritual rather than a formal work commitment.

The actress revealed that over the years, Aaradhya has become familiar with the environment, energy, and fast pace of the Cannes Film Festival. She explained that her daughter enjoys meeting people, observing the creative buzz, and embracing the excitement around her. Aishwarya clarified that the viral videos of Aaradhya walking through hotel corridors with her were never orchestrated or meant for attention. They were simply natural moments between a mother and daughter preparing for a special event.

Aishwarya elaborated on how the “fairy tale” aspect of Cannes helped her bond with Aaradhya. She would often get gowns made in India for her daughter so they could play dress-up together before she stepped onto the red carpet. She described how Aaradhya, fascinated by her mother’s elaborate gowns and hairstyles, would twirl around and create magical moments backstage—scenes that no one outside their team ever saw. These playful interactions often became the highlight of their pre-event routine.

As they stepped outside, Aaradhya continued twirling joyfully, completely unaware of the cameras capturing everything. During the session, Aishwarya also spoke passionately about the strength, resilience, and innate power of women.
