Tusshar Kapoor Opens Up About Pressure Of Being Jeetendra’s Son, Calls It ‘Agneepath’

Tusshar Kapoor has spoken about the challenges of building a career in Bollywood while carrying the surname of his father, veteran actor Jeetendra. The actor acknowledged that being the son of an accomplished star gave him opportunities when he entered the film industry, but it also brought expectations and constant scrutiny. Reflecting on his journey, Tusshar said the pressure associated with being a star kid meant he often had to prove himself repeatedly. In a recent interaction with The Free Press Journal, Tusshar explained that expectations surrounding star children can become particularly demanding once they begin working in the industry. This, he said, creates a situation in which he has to continually surpass his previous work rather than simply build his career at his own pace.

Tusshar admitted that he initially found it difficult to deal with the attention and expectations that came with being Jeetendra’s son.
