Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 Crosses Rs 1,000 Crore Net Despite Third-Week Slowdown

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, showed signs of slowing down at the box office on its third Monday, despite maintaining a strong overall performance. On Day 19, the film earned ₹10 crore domestically, indicating a dip in momentum after an exceptional run since its release.
According to trade estimates, the film’s domestic net collection has crossed ₹1,023.77 crore, while its gross earnings in India have reached approximately ₹1,225.72 crore. Globally, the film continues to perform strongly, with its worldwide collection touching ₹1,622.72 crore, cementing its position as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of recent times.
A closer look at the film’s performance reveals a massive opening week, during which it collected ₹674.17 crore. The second week saw a noticeable drop, with earnings falling to ₹263.65 crore. Despite the decline, the film maintained steady numbers, particularly during weekends, helping it sustain its overall box office dominance.

The film opened to a thunderous response, collecting ₹102.55 crore on its first day, followed by consistent daily earnings ranging between ₹40 crore and ₹60 crore in the first week. Collections moderated in the second week, with daily figures hovering between ₹20 crore and ₹30 crore. Additionally, the film had already earned ₹43 crore through paid previews on March 18, boosting its early momentum.
In the international market, the film added ₹5 crore on Day 19, taking its overseas total to ₹397 crore. This strong overseas performance has significantly contributed to the film’s impressive global tally, further highlighting its widespread appeal among audiences beyond India.
While Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has managed to surpass the box office milestone achieved by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in certain aspects, it fell short of matching the pace set by Pushpa 2: The Rule in reaching the ₹1,000 crore net mark. Nevertheless, the film’s overall performance remains remarkable, and it continues to draw audiences even as its daily collections begin to taper off.
