Dhurandhar on Netflix—Ranveer Singh's Blockbuster Now Streaming

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar, the highest-grossing Hindi film, premieres on Netflix today in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar, one of the biggest Hindi film blockbusters of recent times, began streaming on Netflix on Friday, expanding its reach to a global audience after a highly successful theatrical run. The film was released in cinemas on December 5 last year and went on to dominate the box office.

The action drama premiered on the streaming platform at midnight and is available not only in its original Hindi version but also in Tamil and Telugu. The multilingual release is expected to help the film connect with audiences across different regions in India as well as international viewers.

Speaking about the digital release, Netflix India Vice President of Content Monika Shergill described Dhurandhar as a major pop-culture moment. In a statement, she said the film’s ambition, scale, and storytelling had captured audience imagination and added that Netflix was excited to bring the title to viewers in more than 190 countries as part of its ongoing creative partnership with Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

Director Aditya Dhar said the audience response during the theatrical run had been deeply humbling. He noted that the film’s arrival on Netflix marked a new phase, allowing viewers to rediscover its story, characters, and scale at their own pace while also introducing it to new audiences worldwide.

Producers Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios said the film had reset benchmarks for Indian cinema with its record-breaking box office performance. They added that the Netflix premiere would further strengthen Dhurandhar’s position in popular culture by reaching a wider and more diverse audience.

Dhurandhar has surpassed Pushpa 2: The Rule to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. Along with Ranveer Singh, the film stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan in key roles and has been conceived as a two-part franchise, with the sequel scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
