Bhooth Bangla Earns Rs 12.50 Crore On Day 10, Maintains Strong Box Office Performance
Bhooth Bangla records steady Day 10 growth, boosting domestic and global totals.
Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, continued its strong performance at the box office on Day 10, marking the film’s second Sunday. The movie maintained steady momentum over its second weekend, supported by positive word-of-mouth and consistent audience turnout across major circuits.
On its tenth day, the film reportedly earned Rs 12.50 crore in India net collections across 9,498 shows, according to Sacnilk data. This reflects a rise of around 16.3% compared to the previous day’s earnings, indicating renewed interest from weekend audiences. With this performance, the total domestic net collection of the film has reached approximately Rs 113.40 crore, while India’s gross collection stands at Rs 134.98 crore.
The film has also shown moderate performance in overseas markets. By Day 10, Bhooth Bangla has collected around Rs 3 crore internationally, bringing its total worldwide gross to approximately Rs 179.48 crore. Despite facing competition from recent international releases, the film has managed to maintain a stable global run, driven largely by its domestic performance.

Occupancy trends on Day 10 showed a positive overall response. The film recorded an average occupancy of 29.25% throughout the day. Audience turnout improved significantly during the afternoon and peaked in the evening shows at 42.31%, before dropping to 23.31% in night shows. Despite fluctuations, the overall trend indicated a healthy weekend performance.
Region-wise data showed mixed but steady results across key markets. The National Capital Region (NCR) led with the highest number of shows at 1,033, though occupancy remained moderate at 28.3%. Mumbai performed slightly better with 31.8% occupancy across 723 shows. Cities like Ahmedabad and Bengaluru also contributed positively, recording 30.5% and 33.5% occupancy respectively, indicating broader urban support for the film.
Surat, however, reported the lowest occupancy among major regions at 18.8% across 315 shows. Looking at the overall trajectory, the film opened strongly with Rs 12.25 crore on Day 1 and peaked during its opening weekend at Rs 42 crore. After a mid-week slowdown, it regained momentum in its second weekend, suggesting sustained audience interest and stable box office performance.
