Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro… In Dino’ Set for July 4 Release

Anurag Basu’s much-anticipated anthology film, Metro… In Dino, featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is slated to hit theaters on July 4, 2025.

The makers announced the release date on Instagram, with T-Series captioning, “When love, fate, and city life collide, magic is bound to happen! Experience #Metro… इन दिनों on #July4th in cinemas near you.”

A spiritual successor to Basu’s 2007 critically acclaimed Life in a… Metro, this film weaves together four heartwarming tales of contemporary couples, exploring the intricacies, joys, and challenges of modern relationships.

Presented by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, Metro… In Dino promises a soulful narrative, elevated by Pritam’s evocative music. The title draws inspiration from the iconic song “In Dino” from its predecessor, with dialogues penned by Samrat Chakraborty.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu, the film captures the essence of urban life and love. Earlier this month, on March 2, the team quashed rumors of delays, affirming a 2025 release. “Contrary to reports, we confirm Metro… In Dino is on track for this year,” an official statement read.

The anthology marks Aditya Roy Kapur’s second collaboration with Basu after the hit Ludo. With its blend of emotional depth and a powerhouse cast, Metro… In Dino is poised to be a cinematic treat for audiences this summer.
