Akshay Kumar marked Christmas with an exciting announcement, declaring the official wrap of Welcome to the Jungle, the highly anticipated third installment in the beloved Welcome franchise. The actor shared a captivating teaser on Instagram, blending festive cheer with high-octane drama as the enormous ensemble cast makes a striking entrance to a remixed Christmas jingle. Kumar expressed profound gratitude for the monumental effort involved, describing the project as the largest undertaking in his career and that of his co-stars.
The teaser showcases an impressive lineup walking in synchronized formation, armed and clad in tactical gear, signaling an action-packed adventure. Akshay Kumar appears in a dramatic transformation, sporting long white hair and a beard for a rugged, intense look. Joining him are Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Johny Lever, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Aftab Shivdasani, and Rajpal Yadav, among others, promising a reunion of comedic and action talents.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film expands the cast further with Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev, and the singing duo Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh.
