Twinkle Khanna’s Unfiltered Take: “Older People Are Better At Hiding Affairs”

Twinkle Khanna’s bold “older people hide affairs better” remark on Two Much goes viral online.

Twinkle Khanna sparked another viral moment on Amazon Prime’s Two Much With Twinkle And Kajol, declaring that “older people are much better at hiding affairs” because “we’ve had lots of practice.” The unfiltered remark came during Wednesday’s episode featuring guests Ananya Panday and Farah Khan, in the popular agree/disagree segment that has already made headlines for Twinkle’s “raat gayi baat gayi” comment on physical infidelity. Standing confidently in the agreement box alongside Farah and Ananya, the 50-year-old author-actor added, “You all are too good,” prompting Ananya to quip back at the seniors.

Kajol was the lone dissenter, arguing that Gen Z hides everything better because “social media exposes everyone anyway.” Farah Khan countered that youngsters actually overshare, posting even when they’re not in love, while Twinkle celebrated the speed of modern breakups. When the next statement flashed—“Today’s kids change partners faster than outfits”—Twinkle jumped to agree again, calling it “a good thing.” “In our time we were stuck because of ‘log kya kahenge’,” she said. “Now they just say ‘not working, next’—no baggage, brilliant!”

The conversation echoed Twinkle’s earlier bombshell from the Janhvi Kapoor-Karan Johar episode, where she, Kajol, and Karan unanimously voted physical infidelity as “not a deal-breaker”. Dismissing Janhvi’s lone protest, Twinkle had shrugged: “We’re in our 50s, she’s in her 20s—she’ll join this circle soon. Raat gayi, baat gayi.” That clip has already crossed 18 million views across platforms, with #RaatGayiBaatGayi trending for three straight days.

Married to Akshay Kumar since 2001, Twinkle’s candid takes on relationships continue to dominate social media, with fans hailing her as the “unapologetic queen of hot takes.” The episode dropped at midnight and by Thursday morning had rocketed to No. 1 on Prime Video India, proving once again that when Mrs Funnybones speaks, the internet listens—and laughs.
