Tu Yaa Main Wraps Up Shoot; Adarsh Gourav, Shanaya Kapoor Promise a “Raw, Wild” Experience

Bejoy Nambiar’s Tu Yaa Main, starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, completes filming ahead of Valentine’s release.

The shoot for Tu Yaa Main, a unique romantic creature feature starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, officially wrapped up on Wednesday, marking the end of principal photography for the highly anticipated project directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The makers celebrated the milestone with a "croc-themed" wrap-up party, sharing vibrant photos on Instagram featuring the cast and crew posing with crocodile props, balloons, and custom cakes, capturing the film's quirky reptilian essence.

Nambiar, known for films like Shaitan and Wazir, expressed his emotional attachment to the project, stating, "Every film changes you a little, and Tu Yaa Main definitely did that for me. Wrapping this one up feels special, since the experience has been raw, emotional, and just the right amount of wild. That’s exactly what we set out to make." An earlier announcement teaser hinted at a thrilling premise involving two social media influencers whose chance encounter takes a dangerous turn with a crocodile twist, blending romance, horror, and adventure in a fresh genre mash-up.

Adarsh Gourav, fresh off international acclaim for The White Tiger, plays a small-town influencer and has described the role as a deliberate departure from his past characters. "I never want to repeat myself. The joy of acting lies in the transformation, in disappearing so completely into a character that the audience forgets the actor behind it," he previously shared. Debutante Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor, steps into her first lead role, adding star-kid buzz to the project.

As post-production kicks off, excitement is building for what could be one of next year's most unconventional love stories. With Nambiar's edgy vision and a talented young cast, Tu Yaa Main aims to deliver a wild, unforgettable cinematic ride when it hits theatres around February 14, 2026.
