Suniel Shetty Celebrates Akshay Kumar's Playful Comic Genius Ahead Of 'Welcome To The Jungle' Release

Veteran actor Suniel Shetty has showered praise on longtime co-star Akshay Kumar, highlighting his natural sense of humour and playful personality while reminiscing about their experience of working together on the upcoming comedy entertainer Welcome to the Jungle. The duo, known for delivering several memorable hits since the 1990s, is set to reunite on the big screen once again.

Speaking to ANI, Suniel described Akshay as someone who instinctively adds fun to every situation. "Akshay ke DNA mein hai ungli karna," he said, referring to the actor's habit of pulling pranks and bringing unexpected comic touches to scenes. According to Suniel, Akshay's unique approach to acting and action sequences keeps the atmosphere lively and entertaining both on and off the camera.

Suniel further explained that Akshay has a distinct way of looking at every scene, often finding opportunities to introduce humour that others might overlook. He said this quality has remained unchanged throughout their long association and is one of the reasons audiences enjoy watching him perform. The actor added that working with Akshay is always an enjoyable experience because of his positive energy and spontaneous creativity.

The actor also spoke about fellow stars Govinda and Salman Khan, praising their exceptional comic timing. He believes such natural talent is a gift that, when paired with a good heart, creates truly memorable performers.

Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty have shared screen space in several successful films, including Waqt Hamara Hai, Mohra, Dhadkan, Hera Pheri, Awara Paagal Deewana, Phir Hera Pheri and De Dana Dan. Welcome to the Jungle is scheduled to hit theatres on June 26 and features an extensive ensemble cast, including Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi and Aftab Shivdasani, among others.
