Shakira India Tour: West Asia Conflict Forces Concert Postponement

Shakira's Mumbai and Delhi concerts are postponed due to ongoing Middle East geopolitical tensions.

Global pop icon Shakira’s upcoming India concerts have been postponed amid escalating geopolitical tensions in West Asia, organisers confirmed on Sunday. The decision follows growing uncertainty linked to the ongoing regional conflict that began on February 28, impacting international travel and large-scale events.

In a statement shared online, the organisers said the move was taken, prioritising safety. “Due to the prevailing geopolitical situation and regional tensions, the Feeding India Concert featuring Shakira has been postponed until further notice,” the statement read. It added that all ticket holders will receive full refunds, which will be automatically processed to their original mode of payment.

The singer was scheduled to perform at Mahalaxmi Racecourse on April 10 and at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on April 15. Organisers said they are working with the artist’s team to finalise new dates and will share updates once confirmed.
