Shah Rukh Khan to Move Out of Mannat for 2 years, Rents Luxury Flat in Bandra

The actor has reportedly leased four floors in a luxury apartment complex in Bandra’s Pali Hill, where he will stay for the next two years.

Shah Rukh Khan and his family are temporarily moving out of their iconic Mumbai home, Mannat, as the bungalow undergoes an extensive renovation. The actor has reportedly leased four floors in a luxury apartment complex in Bandra’s Pali Hill, where he will stay for the next two years.

Mannat, a Grade III heritage structure, attracts thousands of visitors daily, making it one of Mumbai’s most famous landmarks. However, starting May, fans will see construction crews instead of the superstar, as Mannat’s long-awaited expansion begins. Given the nature of the project, the Khans—Shah Rukh, wife Gauri, and children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam—have decided to relocate.

Sources reveal that Shah Rukh has rented duplex apartments spanning the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors of Puja Casa, a property owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani’s children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh. His production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, finalized the lease last week. The monthly rent? A staggering Rs 24 lakh.

The new residence will house not just the family but also Shah Rukh’s security and staff, ensuring privacy and safety. While the lease agreement is for three years, insiders suggest the Khans plan to return to Mannat once the renovations are complete, likely within two years.

With Mannat set to undergo a significant transformation, this temporary shift marks a rare change for the superstar, who has called the sea-facing bungalow home for over 25 years.
